Who knows the dark
The dark ambitions
The toils that present themselves at the present
Presence that is foretold
Presence that no one knows
Presence that sends itself notice to come
The darkness told by authors and poets
The darkness in the soul of evil men
The darkness in adolescent music
Who knows the dark
The path
The journey
The end
Those who call themselves evil
Know nothing of the nature
Those that are called evil
Know the harm it does
Those that accuse the evil
Know what it looks like
But who knows the dark

Who knows someone in the dark
There is a substance like air
There is a feeling like euphoria
There is a voice like your own
There is power like electrical current
What has you like this all of a sudden
A thought?
A memory?
An experience?
Trouble ?
Frustration?
Greed?
And now the dark is a memory

Where does it go and how long should I stay
For those that have secrets RUN
For those that have been beaten HIDE
For those that have debts to settle CRAWL
Those that have enough of discrimination
Those that have had enough injustice
Those that have had enough SILENCE
Those that that are ready to fight STAND UP
There is music that helps in the dark
A rhythm, a heartbeat that fuels in the dark
Its alive but it can't bleed
It can't bleed so you can't hurt it
If you can't hurt it, how do you stop it
Who knows the dark like those that are trapped
By the invisible claws
